I love looking at all the fun things that people are making and selling, especially on Esty.com. I need to maintain a budget so unfortunately I cannot spend $40 on a cute felt beenie hat. That's when I realized I could make it myself!
I went on Craigslist.com and found a sewing machine for half the original price and I entered the unkown...
I bought some inexspensive felt and began to make my very first felt purse for my girls. As they are still young, they don't really care about how bad the stitches are. I added some fun lace ribbon just to add a touch of color. I bought big buttons so the girls could close their new pouches.
We also bought some fun, sturdy ribbon for the handles. Sewing those on is super easy, making it look tidy is a little bit messy! I am still learning "sew" I will find a great example to show to everyone.
